Octopuses live in oceans worldwide, mainly on rocky or sandy seafloors, from shallow coastal waters to the deep sea.
Octopuses eat mainly crabs, shrimp, fish, shellfish, and other small marine animals. They are mostly solitary animals, living and hunting alone except during mating.
Octopuses are extremely intelligent: they can solve problems, use tools, and remember things. They can also change color and texture to blend in with their environment. I do not understand why they do not rule the world yet.
